The following description is derived from both the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Louth' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1986) and the 'Archaeological Survey of County Louth' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1991). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.

Isolated Man-made underground passage, located in front garden of modern farmhouse on top of small drumlin. Discovered in 1984 during building. Present entrance is at S end of Man-made underground passage. It consists of a simple drystone-built passage (L 13.6m, Wth 1.2m, H 1.3m) curving N-S to form an S-shaped plan. The original entrance was at the N but was blocked in antiquity.
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
