What is recorded here
Kay Field still whispers of a hidden cave beneath the ringfort, though no entrance remains visible. The land remembers a passage built by human hands, perhaps sealed or swallowed by soil and time. What was dug in Barronstown may have served trade, ritual or flight, but the earth kept the purpose private.

Situated in ringfort (LH006-005001-). Local tradition of a 'cave' in the 'Cave Field' or 'Kay Field'. (CLAJ 1930, 178)
