What is recorded here

Within the SE quadrant of a cashel (GA096-011----). A protruding lintel-like stone in the SSE sector of the interior and a depression (L 6.4m, Wth 1.5m), running N-S, in the S sector suggest the possible presence of a Man-made underground passage. Traces of possible side-walls are evident in the depression. (McCaffrey 1952, 149, no. 59) Compiled by: Galway Archaeological Survey, UCG Date of upload: 6 January 2017
