What is recorded here

Under the rath at Aglish, a man-made passage disappeared without a trace. Local memory insists it existed, yet no stone or shadow remains for a stranger to touch. The earth swallowed the work of human hands, leaving only a clean hole in the story and a warning that even built things can vanish.
In a rath (KE058-025----). According to local information, there was a Man-made underground passage here but there are no visible remains of it. Compiled by: Elizabeth Byrne, Ursula Egan and Sheila Ronan, Archaeological Survey Unit, University College, Cork. Date of upload: 31 January 2011

This remains an important historical record, but the official description says the monument is no longer visible or has been destroyed. The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
