Loughmask Castle in ruins — Report the wrong picture

Knocknamucklagh Castle stands in a ordinary farmyard on the east shore of Lough Mask, a deBurgo tower from 1480 that still wears its tall chimneys and finely cut gargoyles. The lower vaulted chamber exposes wickerwork inside its stone ribs, while two fireplaces mark later deBurgo work in 1615 and 1618. It is closed to entry, but the building does not need to be touched to be read: a small violent house, made domestic, still keeping its shape beside the water.
