What is recorded here
A 'Fort' consisting of an oval mound said to be 100ft N-S and 56ft E-W, was recorded here (M.R. Calhoun). There were two small circles at the N end and some bones were also found. This feature could not be located. It was situated on grazing land with some rock outcrop close to the sandhills at Tramore on Sheephaven Bay.
