The *Loe Bar Wreck* is a 17th-century Dutch merchant vessel, lost in 1628 near the Loe Bar in Cornwall during a storm. It sank with its cargo of wine, much of which was recovered, and no lives were lost; its significance lies in being one of the earliest recorded protected wreck sites in England.
