
What is recorded here
In pasture, in an area liable to floods, on the N bank of the Laune River. Access to the rath was not gained as the area was inaccessible due to winter floods. The rath is indicated on the 1846 OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure (diam. 25m). It is indicated as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 35m) on the 1895 OS 6-inch map.
