Concrete-lined water cistern, built c. 1830. Located to north-east of Lissadell House.
The precise function of this water storage cistern has not been ascertained. Nevertheless it is clearly of historic and technical interest in the context of nineteenth century country house estate development.
This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
