In pasture, on NNE-facing slope. Circular area (52m N-S; 50m E-W) defined by earthen bank (int. H 2.1m) SSW->W; stone-faced earthen bank W->N; with low earthen bank N->SSW, topped by stone field fence; shallow fosse SSW->W.Bank broken to the ESE and W. Cultivation ridges, in NW quadrant, cross interior on N-S axis; low mound of loose stone in centre. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
