What is recorded here

Indicated is a circular banked enclosure on a south-facing slope in County Cork, Ireland. The stone-free ring measures about seventeen metres across, rises one metre twenty, and has no ditch. It is so overgrown that the fort shape disappears under vegetation, yet the local name still points to defence. The place may have been a stronghold, a boundary marker, or a forgotten home.

On S-facing slope. Circular enclosure (diam. 17.6m N-S; 17m E-W) defined by bank (max. int. H 1.2m). No trace of fosse. Heavily overgrown. Locally known as 'fort'.
