What is recorded here

Lisnaraha is a fairy fort in County Cork, Ireland. Its stone bank still marks a circular home on the eastern slope, though gaps and quarrying have damaged the edge. The preserved part suggests a small defended place where people lived, kept animals, or avoided danger. The lost part may have contained a doorway, a room, a fire, or a person who first shaped the stones.

In pasture, on E-facing slope. Circular area (28.3m E-W; 27.5m N-S) defined by stone bank (H 1.35m) NNE->WNW; field boundary to NW; external fosse (D0.5m) to W. Gaps in bank to N and E (Wth 4m); external face quarried into to SE. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
