Lisnamanroe is a sixty-metre fairy fort in County Cork where a two-metre earthen bank still stands beside a shallow fosse. Humans may have lived inside its circle before forgetting the name, while the land kept the shape intact for aerial cameras to reveal. The fort waits patient and unbroken, marking a boundary between ordinary fields and older memory.

Circular enclosure (diam. c. 60m) defined by earthen bank surviving in field fence system to N (H 2m), with shallow fosse (D 0.15m) to NNW; slight rise elsewhere, levelled defences clearly visible in aerial photographs (CASAP).
