Lisnacloonagh is a fairy fort in County Clare, Ireland. Its earthen bank and shallow fosse still mark a wide grass circle on a south-facing slope, though no entrance remains visible. People may have lived inside the ring before the fairies took it back, or the fairies may have worn the shape smooth while humans walked past. The field bank has swallowed part of the ancient wall, but the circle still holds its own quiet claim on the land.

On a S-facing slope. Listed as 'Enclosure' in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). A circular grass-covered area (int. diam. 30m E-W; 28m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4-4.3m; int. H 0.7-1m; ext. H 0.9-1m) NE-SW which is incorporated into a field bank (Wth 3m; int. H 1.4-1.6m; ext. H 1.2-1.4m) elsewhere, and an outer fosse (Wth of base 1.6m; ext. D 0.3m) WSW-N.
