Lismoghry Fairy Fort vanished completely from middling land below a Donegal hill summit, leaving behind only a forgotten name and a view stretching south. The fort disappeared, perhaps swallowed by soil or erased by time, but the empty air still belongs to the shape it once forced into the world. What the fort resisted, it resisted without a body, continuing its work in the minds of everyone who stops to wonder where the stones went.

The 'Fort' marked on the 1st and 2nd editions of the OS 6-inch maps is completely gone. It was situated in middling land just below the summit of a hill with good views to the S.
