Three-arch rubble stone road bridge over river, c.1800. Random rubble stone walls with dressed conglomerate stone triangular cut-waters to piers having rendered coping, and rendered rounded coping to parapets. Series of three segmental arches with dressed conglomerate stone voussoirs, and rubble stone soffits. Sited spanning Pollanassa River with grass banks to river.

Exhibiting a traditional construction in locally-sourced stone with barely-refined dressings a modest-scale bridge forming an appealing feature at a crossing over the Pollanassa River forms an important element of the late eighteenth- or early nineteenth-century civil engineering heritage of County Kilkenny.
