Lisheenarnagh was a children's burial ground hidden inside a possible rath in County Mayo, named on maps from 1838 and 1922 before land reclamation erased its visible trace. The loss is not empty, because the name still points to a place where young lives were honored separately from adult death. It may have felt like a small protected circle, a quiet boundary drawn around innocence in a harsh landscape.

Within a possible rath (MA038-019001-). According to local tradition, the interior of the possible rath was used as a children’s burial ground, named ‘Lisheenarnagh’ on the 1838 and 1922 OS 6-inch maps. It was destroyed during land reclamation; there are no visible remains at ground level. There is a possible rath (MA038-020----) 40m to NE, and another children’s burial ground (MA018-018002-) within a possible rath (MA038-018001-) 180m to NNW.
