What is recorded here
Enaghmore Castle stands in ruins across County Mayo, its stones stripped of roof and purpose but still holding the shape of a defensive home. The absence of a clear date or owner does not diminish the place; it invites imagination about the families, fears and daily routines that filled its chambers before decay took them. What remains is a skeleton of ambition, waiting for someone to read its lines and give back the life it once housed.
