Lisheen-nabasty is an oval fairy fort on a Galway rise, its collapsed drystone wall still marking a boundary bigger than the field around it. The cashel measures fifty-three metres along its longest axis and holds a buried chamber inside the grass. People may have lived there before becoming legend, but the shape still refuses to disappear.

On a rise in otherwise level grassland. Oval cashel (NNE-SSW c. 53m, E-W c. 36m), in fair condition, defined by a partly collapsed drystone wall overlain by a field wall from NE through S to SW.
