Cahergal

On a low ridge in gently rolling grassland. Well-preserved subcircular cashel (N-S 42.3m, E-W 37.4m) defined by a massive drystone wall. There is an entrance at SE. A number of field walls radiate from the enclosing element and a trackway encircles it at E. Some grassed-over stone walls are visible within the interior.
