In pasture, on SE-facing slope. Circular area (diam. 17m) enclosed by earth and stone bank (ext. H 0.9m; int. H 1.0m) with shallow inner fosse (D 0.3m). Two bungalows close to enclosure to SE and NE. Lisfachtna, Burgatia is a circular early-medieval ringfort, likely dating to between the 5th and 10th centuries, characterized by an earth and stone bank with a shallow inner fosse. Local tradition associates such sites with fairy dwellings, and the name "Lisfachtna" may derive from "Lios na Faitheachna," meaning "fairy enclosure."
