In pasture, on slight SW-facing slope. Roughly circular area (42m N-S; 45m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.6m; ext. H 2m), with external fosse (Wth 3.4m) NW->S and external earthen bank (int. H 0.7m; ext. H 0.1m) WNW->NE. Outer face of external bank is stone faced at NW; external bank is incorporated in field boundary NW->SSE.
