Detached four-bay single-storey former lighthouse keeper's house, built 1909, now in use as visitor centre. Recent extensions to south-west. Flat roof with rendered chimneystack, ventilation cowls and internal uPVC rainwater goods with adjacent cistern. Painted rendered walls with cornice. Square-headed openings with two-over-two timber sliding sash windows and concrete sills. Square-headed door opening with timber battened door.
Set in a picturesque and dramatic location, this former keeper's house, constructed in association with the fog signal, retains its original form and features. Built as part of a larger complex, it forms part of a striking and significant group.
