In forestry, on top of Moynass mountain. Circular, heavily overgrown cairn (diam. 13.3m; H 1m); smaller stones on top may have been added recently. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000). A circular cairn, likely dating to the Bronze Age; its location on a mountain summit suggests ritual or funerary significance.
