Ladye Well

Ladye Well is traditionally associated with a local saintly figure or "lady," possibly a regional or pre-Christian deity venerated in the medieval period. The well was used for healing rituals and may have been linked to fertility or protection, as was common with many holy wells in Scotland and Britain.
