Kynance Cove is a small cove on the south coast of the Lizard Peninsula in Cornwall, England, characterized by striking red sandstone and shale cliffs. The rocks date to the Devonian period (around 360 million years old) and were formed in a shallow tropical sea, making the cove notable for its colorful geology and well-exposed sedimentary layers.
