Knocknarea is a prominent hill in County Sligo, Ireland, with an elevation of approximately 498 meters. It is composed mainly of basalt and is associated with local folklore, including legends of the warrior queen Maeve of Connacht. The hill is historically significant as the site of a large cairn, the Queen Maeve's Grange, which is one of the largest passage tombs in Ireland.
