Five stones still stand on the upper slopes of Musherabeg Mountain, aligned to catch the winter and summer solstice sun. Two more have fallen flat since 1931, when excavators found the interior paved and scattered with quartzite. The radial cairn and distant standing stones complete a mountain-top chamber where shadow and light still move according to the ancient angle.
