What is recorded here

Knocknagartan South is a small oval crannog in Lough Ramor, County Cavan, lying just 30m from the shoreline. Its compact shape suggests people built or shaped the island to keep dry feet, stored goods and a hearth above the water. The lake may have closed around it, but the platform still resists forgetting.
