What is recorded here

Knocknagartan North is a small oval crannog in Lough Ramor, County Cavan, sitting fifty metres from the shore. Its thirty-by-eighteen-metre frame suggests people built a living platform above open water rather than wasting land on a rocky beach. The lake may have swallowed the approach, leaving the wooden deck suspended in memory.
