Ten men died at Kingsmill on 5 January 1976 because gunmen believed they were Protestant. The group called itself the South Armagh Republican Action Force, but a later report tied the attack to the Provisional IRA and said the men were chosen for that reason. One victim survived eighteen shots, a fact that makes the cruelty easier to see and harder to forget.
Kingsmill massacre is a mass shooting in County Armagh, Ireland.
