The King Richard III Visitor Centre in Leicester marks the site where the remains of King Richard III were discovered in 2012 beneath a car park, leading to his reburial in Leicester Cathedral in 2015. The centre is important for its connection to one of England's most controversial monarchs and for advancing historical and archaeological understanding of the Plantagenet dynasty.
