Excavated in advance of construction of the N9/N10 Kilcullen-Waterford Road (Excavation Licence number E2620). A "figure of eight' shaped kiln (max L 2.8m; D 0.6m). There was no evidence for burning and this has led to the suggestion that it may never have been used. (Hackett L. and Hanbridge R. 2009, 5-6). Reference: Hackett L. and Hanbridge R.
