Kilmore Graveyard in Carnacally has buried people since medieval times, when death belonged to everyone and memory depended on earth. The site continued through the post-medieval period, suggesting an unbroken thread of loss, faith and identity across centuries. Stones may have cracked or vanished, but the ground kept its promise. To walk there now is to join a long line of witnesses, each life adding weight to the same quiet soil.
