Killeen Grave Yd. is a burial ground in Corbally, County Limerick, recorded by Westropp in 1904-5 and linked to Templenamona in 1586. Its irregular earthwork is barely visible today except in aerial photographs, yet it remains a place where dead people were laid to rest and remembered. The name Killeen suggests a small church or chapel once stood there, giving the grave yard its identity. What is missing is not emptiness; it is invitation to imagine the lives that gathered around it before the land took them back.
