Kill Burial Ground (Childrens) is a roughly square burial area in County Cork, Ireland, enclosed by a low earthen bank and scattered with visible grave markers. The children’s label suggests these were young lives taken before their time, perhaps from fever, hunger or the simple cruelty of infancy in a harsh land. They are not named in surviving records, but the small size and separate placement imply a community that marked childhood death as different from adult death, worthy of its own boundary and remembrance.
