In pasture, c. 250m N of Blackwater River. Well enclosed by stone wall (14m N-S; 8m E-W; H 1.2m); water egress through opening in S wall. Area of site overgrown; no indication that well is venerated. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
