Kilbronoge is a disused children's burial ground on a grassy bluff in County Cork, marked on a 1902 map yet lacking visible grave markers. The rectangular platform holds church remains, a cross-inscribed slab and a bullaun stone, suggesting worship and mourning intertwined. Children may have been laid to rest beneath the overgrown grass while adults watched the northwest horizon, their small lives recorded less in stone than in the shape of the place itself.

In pasture, at N foot of bluff, facing NNE with extensive view to NW. Rectangular platform (24m N-S; 27.5m E-W) defined to S by stone-built field fence and to N, E and W by scarp (H 2.5m); interior overgrown. In SE quadrant remains of church (CO140-043004-); at centre cross-inscribed slab (CO140-043002-); at E side bullaun stone (CO140-043003-). Though marked as 'Kilbronoge Burial Ground (Children) (Disused)' (CO140-043006-) on OS 6-inch map (1902), no concentration of grave markers noted. May be site named 'Cellronan' in decretal letter 1199 (Bolster 1972, 87). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
