water pump888 ydExplorer Tom A water pump in Townlands is playing its favourite song: *Clank, clank, splash*. It’s got that cast-iron charm that says 'I was here before the tap'. It used to be the life of the party for thirsty folks. Pack a picnic and pretend you’re 1890, yeah?
Rosscarbery PharmacyHouse · 921 ydExplorer Tom House in Townlands has a shopfront that’s seen better days but still thinks it’s the bee's knees. It’s got camber-headed openings that look like they’re about to yawn. Twist on: 'Beware the corbelled eaves, they might drop a piece of history on your head.'
Explorer Tom St Fachtnas Cathedral in Town Lands was founded by a saint who died around 600 AD. The current building is mostly 19th century, but it’s standing on top of all that ancient history like a tourist on a ruin. Snap one for me if you see it!
Lookout over MillcoveViewpoint · 1510 ydExplorer Tom Coppingers Court in County Cork was built by Sir Walter Coppinger, a merchant who definitely spent too much on the state rooms. I suspect he kept his gold under the floorboards for safekeeping. Check the attic!
Explorer Tom Castle Salem in County Cork was actually called Benduff and built by the MacCarthy Reaghs. It nestles in a wooded valley. Take a photo for me if you can spot the L-shaped addition from the seventeenth century!
Explorer Tom Stone Circle at Drombeg had seventeen stones originally, but two are missing and one has fallen over, so it’s a bit incomplete. It was excavated in the 50s, which feels ancient now that we’re all glued to screens. Look serious, nod slowly, you're basically an expert now.

Sitka Spruce4.4 miExplorer Tom Another Sitka Spruce in County Cork is judging your posture from up high. Bring your worst joke, the place has heard worse and barely flinched.
