Jennifer Gadirova

Jennifer Gadirova was born in County Dublin on 3 October 2004 while her Azerbaijani parents worked there briefly, making the Irish city the unexpected origin point for a future Great Britain gymnast. She and her identical twin Jessica later represented England and then Great Britain, winning Olympic bronze in Tokyo 2020 and world championship silver in Liverpool 2022. Dublin did not train her or appear in her medal records, but it gave her life its first address and one of her three citizenships.
