What is recorded here

Íte of Killeedy was born around 480 in County Waterford, Ireland, and became the foster mother of saints. She rejected a prestigious marriage and settled at Cluain Creadhail with her sister Fiona, where she founded a small community of nuns. A chieftain offered her a large grant of land, but she accepted only four acres, which she cultivated intensively. Her feast day is 15 January, and Killeedy still bears her name.
