Inverbervie, Hallgreen Castle

Hallgreen Castle, a medieval tower house near Inverbervie, was built by the Gordon family in the late 15th or early 16th century. It is remembered for its strategic position in the northeast of Scotland and as an example of a fortified residence reflecting the region's turbulent feudal history.
