Inscribed stone in Aghanure

According to Fitzgerald (1891-5, 337), ‘Many years ago this inscribed stone was seen by the 4th Duke of Leinster, used as a sill to a barn-door at Brennan’s farm, on the townland of Aghanure … now preserved at Kilkea Castle [KD037-017002-]; it measures 47 inches [c. 1.19m] in length, 12.5 inches [c. 0.32m] in breadth, and 7 inches [c. 0.18m] in thickness; the material is limestone, and the lettering is in relief.’ Its precise original location is no longer known, and record no.
