What is recorded here
In gently undulating pastureland; formerly demesne land. One of 14 similar features marked on the OS 6-inch maps (see also GA059-064---- to GA059-064007- and GA059-064009- to GA059-064013-). This example is shown on the OS 1:2500 plan (surveyed 1912-16) as a roughly subrectangular enclosure (c. 42m E-W; c. 39m N-S) defined by a solid line and planted with trees. The trees have been cleared away and apart from a very faint depression (diam. c. 20m) no visible surface trace survives of the enclosing element.
