What is recorded here
In gently undulating pastureland; formerly demesne land. One of 14 similar features marked on the OS 6-inch maps (see also GA059-064---- to GA059-064004- and GA059-064006- to GA059-064013-). This example is shown on the OS 1:2500 plan (surveyed 1912-16) as a roughly sub-oval enclosure (c. 35m N-S; c. 27m E-W) defined by a solid line and planted with trees. The trees have been cleared away and apart from a circular area of dark vegetation, no visible surface trace survives.
