On top of high ground, in pasture, with good extensive views in all directions. Enclosures (TS043-008---- and TS043-006----) located 170m and 550m to the N respectively and a ringfort (TS043-010----) is located 430m to the SSE. A small circular enclosure (diam. 66m) is depicted on the 1st (1840) ed. OS 6-inch map. It is not visible at ground level.
