Indicated is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Tawnagh More, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a low rise as a circular grass-covered area thirty-three metres across, bounded by a scarp rising between forty centimetres and one metre. A church stands about one hundred and sixty metres to the east-northeast.
On top of a low rise. Described as a circular area (diam. c. 33m) defined by a gapped earthen bank with traces of an outer fosse (Gannon 1972). It is now a circular grass-covered area (diam. 33m) defined by a scarp (H 0.4-1m). Church (RO011-128001-) is c. 160m to the ENE. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
