Towards the bottom of the SW-facing slope of a small drumlin with Ballagh Lough (dims c. 400m NE-SW; c. 250m NW-SE) c. 90m to the W. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 42m N-S) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 4.3-5.5m; int. H 0.2-1.2m; ext. H 1-1.3m) with an outer fosse (Wth of top 4.5-5m; D 0.3m generally to 1.05m at NE) NNE-SE but visible as a band of wet ground (Wth 3-5m) NW-N, and re-cut as a drain SE-W. The entrance (Wth 3.5m) is at E. Rath (RO011-122----) is c. 190m to the N. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
