Indicated

In rough pasture, on the NW-facing slopes of Knocknabro. An oval area (30.6m E-W; 20m N-S) defined by a bank of earth and stone (Wth 2.1m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 0.75m) W-E and by an intermittent lip on top of a scarp E-W. The bank is best preserved N-E, where a small drainage channel skirts the external face of the bank. Two large stones are incorporated into the bank at E. The interior is raised (H 1.2m) at S and is partially covered with overgrowth. Remains of cultivation ridges cross the interior in a N-S direction and there is a pile of loose stones at the centre. A hut site (KE068-026001-) abuts the internal face of the bank at W. This is the 'fort' recorded by Rev. W. Ferris (d. 1971) on Patrick Duggan's land (WFP).
