What is recorded here

Indicated is a fading stone ring in Galway pasture, marked by a silage pit pressing against its eastern wall. The fort belongs to the living landscape now, its ancient boundary blurred by grass and farm work. What was built to hold or keep out has become a shape inside the field, remembered more by loss than by form.

In reclaimed rolling pastureland that was formerly part of Saintclerans demesne. Very poorly preserved circular cashel (diam. 35.5m) defined by a drystone wall which is best preserved at N; elsewhere it survives as a grassed-over stony bank. A silage pit abuts the wall at E.
